Abstract
As a useful and effective creature in agriculture, job creation, nutrition and economy, the honey bee has a privileged position in the Iran's agriculture and animal husbandry sector; therefore, by adopting appropriate methods, while developing the beekeeping industry, any problems and disturbances in the development process of this industry should be prevented and its development and expansion should be provided. In this research, force field analysis, which is Kurt Levin's model, has been used to identify the inhibiting and promoting factors.. This research has been done in three rounds. The statistical population consisted of the beekeepers and the experts of Agricultural Jihad Organization, from whom; fifteen samples were selected by purposive sampling. Summarizing the inhibiting and promoting factors of the first round led to the identification of 27 promoting and 42 inhibiting factors, which were divided into four groups: cultural-social, economic, technical-special and managerial-infrastructural. The second round analysis related to cultural-social and managerial-infrastructural factors showed that promoting forces are stronger than that of inhibiting; whereas, in the analysis related to the economic and technical-special factor, inhibiting forces are stronger than that of promoting. The results of the third round showed that inhibiting is stronger than the promoting forces. In general, the scores of inhibiting factor are higher than promoting; That is, the power of the inhibiting forces is greater than the promoting and they put more pressure on the beekeepers.
